One last note...sorry I have been a poor blogger lately, it's been busy and life has been speeding by. In addition to my full time job as a social worker, my poor little dog has been healing from a back injury and has been needing lots of TLC, vet appointments, and careful monitoring. She is starting to get better, but the recovery is slow and cautious. So I hope you forgive my lack of blogging lately. I promise to try and do better!

You're A Good Egg!
Just finished some new Easter collages, in the shape of big eggs! Perfect for hanging on your door or wall to welcome in the Easter and Spring season! Check it out...

Both of these are now for sale at The Glitter Workshop here in Madison, so be sure to stop on by soon before they find another home. I had so much fun making them I am going to get cracking on a few more, even one for my front door I think! In addition to these collages, I also dropped off some fun vintage goodies and yummy fabric at Glitter Workshop, so make sure you check out both the awesome handmade crafts and the vintage boutique!

New Winter Hats!
I got some new winter hats recently for myself and just love them! So, naturally I thought I would share them with you! I found both of these wonderful creations at my last art fair, the Holiday Craftacular!
First, this fabulous and really warm kitty hat! Isn't it adorable! And, surprisingly, I find that it goes with everything I wear!
Here is my mom modeling the hat for me! Isn't she cute! If you want one of these hats, head on over to the Glitter Workshop, which has both an online store and a brick and mortar shop!
Next I found this little felt darling, handmade by Mindy Kuen! I love pink, so of course I had to have it! You know...for those days that black kitty ears just aren't working for me!
Here is a close up of the little purple flower! I love the sparkles in the felt!
Next up...I might try to make some winter hats from felt myself. We will see how they turn out. I promise to keep you posted!

A Brand New Glitter Workshop!

Very exciting news here in Madison...The Glitter Workshop is back! If you are not familiar with this wonderful store, then you missed out on something great! Once located on the east side, it was a true haven for crafters of all kinds, brimming with wonderful handmade goodies for all! Sadly, the store closed a few years ago and we have all missed it. But never fear, Naomi and her glitter is back and better than ever, with a brand new west side location (dangerously close to my home and right next door to the fabulous Stitcher's Crossing)! Last night I took a huge load of Artsy Fartsy greeting cards to the store and got a tour, and let me tell you the space is fabulous, with a room for teaching classes, a lovely dressing room, and even a kids room for play, not to mention plenty of store space to sell all kinds of lovely handmade goodies and vintage fun! The grand reopening is next Saturday, 11/13 and is sure to be wonderful! So be sure to stop on by and start your Christmas shopping!
In addition to a new store front location, Naomi is also throwing her awesome Holiday Craftacular again on 12/11 and, I promise you, it should not be missed! Artsy Fartsy, along with a ton of other wonderful artists will be there selling their crafty goodness for all to enjoy so mark your calendars now! The first 50 shoppers will get a free goody bag, filled with lots of yummy treats from the artists!

But long before the Holiday Craftcular comes our way, I will be participating in the new Crafty Fair, created by Rosy of Recreative Crafts! I think it will be a really great mix of artists and super fun!
