I think it will be a good year!

My Birthday is tomorrow! I will be 33 years old and my theory is that this year will be an excellent year because I love the number 3 and now I have it twice in my age! Last week I had a little early birthday fun when my friends from work treated me to a dinner at the Melting Pot! That restaurant is so good I have dreams of living there! I even got these chocolate covered strawberries! Hmmmmmm...they didn't last long!


The other fun surprise last week was when a wonderful box of goodies came in the mail from my friend Kristina! She sent the box as a thank you for making her 2 skirts (she is my first paying customer for skirts!). I was so touched by her gifts...a handmade jar of sweets, more chocolate, a really cute necklace, a beautiful handmade card, and a box of vintage birthday candles to add to my collection!

As we go about our daily lives, it gets so busy and bustling that you can forget to stop and smell the flowers, laugh with friends, and enjoy life. Birthdays remind you to do just that! So I took the week off and I am celebrating life. I hope you too have a wonderful week!
